What is a fuel card?
A fuel card works like a charge card and provides a cash free way of purchasing fuel and associated products. You are provided with a HMRC VAT approved invoice showing details of each transaction, reducing the amount of time you have to spend on administration and gaining greater control over your fuel expenditure.
How does a fuel card work?
A business fuel card is similar in use to a commercial charge card. Forecourt Fuels sets up an account in your company name and issues the number of fuel cards that are required. Each card holder then simply uses a filling station that accepts the type of card issued and fuels their vehicle as usual. The fuel card is then used for payment instead of paying by cash or credit/debit card. The fuel card holder can supply the vehicle registration number and mileage if this is required.
Are there any set up costs or annual fees?
Some fuel card companies do charge for cards, however with Forecourt Fuels there are no set up fees, no charge for cards and no minimum usage requirement. There are no annual fees or other charges for your fuel card.
Are there any minimum usage requirements?
There are no minimum usage requirements on the fuel cards we supply; you use the card as much or as little as you need to. We do however request that only people with an average monthly spend of above £200 apply for a fuel card.

Yes they are. We can provide you with payment terms ranging from 10 days to 20th of the month following (dependant on card type), providing you with interest free credit helping to improve your cash flow.
What products can be purchased with a fuel card?
Fuel cards can be used to pay for a wide range of products, you can decide exactly what products can be purchased on each card. Most cards can be used to purchase fuels and lubricants, some will also allow the card holder to purchase car wash tokens and other vehicle related accessories.

Some cards will allow the card holder to purchase shop goods. Please ask us what is available when discussing which type of card would be best suited to your needs.
What happens if I lose the card or it is stolen?
Cards can be and stopped and ordered online via our website, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Alternatively your account manager can be contacted during office hours.
How long does it take to receive a replacement card?
Most cards are usually replaced within five working days.

Yes you can, however, we do ask that prior to applying for an account you have a minimum monthly spend in excess of £400.

Our website provides a number of online services including; requesting new cards, cancelling an existing card, requesting duplicate invoices, downloading transaction queries, obtaining pin numbers, downloading fuel card lists and checking expiry dates of cards.
